Dave Evans,

Dave has over 50 years of experience in the financial services industry. His goal is for Evans Financial Group to make positive, life-changing and lasting differences in the communities it serves.

Dave received a degree in marketing from Lamar University. He holds life and health insurance licenses and earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU^®) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC^®) designations. He is also an Investment Adviser Representative with Brookstone Capital Management LLC.

Dave and his wife, Gale, have been married for 50 years and have one son, Colin. They attend City Church (formerly Church at Red River). Dave’s hobbies include saltwater fishing and showing off his 1969 GTO Judge at car shows.

Colin Evans,

RFC^®

Colin joined the firm in 2000, continuing the legacy with his father. He earned his bachelor’s degree in financial analysis and insurance from Louisiana State University in 2001.

Outside of his professional life, Colin is a devoted father to his daughter, Emerson Leigh. He is passionate about firearms training and education, serving as a National Rifle Association (NRA) pistol instructor and a concealed handgun permit instructor for the state of Louisiana. Colin is also an author, an avid mountain climber, and a Certified Personal Trainer. He is an active member of City Church (formerly Church at Red River). A highlight of his life was summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa alongside his father in October 2021.
