Dave Evans, CLU, CHFC
Dave has over 50 years of experience in the financial services industry. His goal is for Evans Financial Group to make positive, life-changing and lasting differences in the communities it serves.
Dave received a degree in marketing from Lamar University. He holds life and health insurance licenses and earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations. He is also an Investment Adviser Representative with Brookstone Capital Management LLC.
Dave and his wife, Gale, have been married for 50 years and have one son, Colin. They attend City Church (formerly Church at Red River). Dave’s hobbies include saltwater fishing and showing off his 1969 GTO Judge at car shows.
Colin Evans, RFC
Colin joined the firm in 2000, continuing the legacy with his father. He earned his bachelor’s degree in financial analysis and insurance from Louisiana State University in 2001.
Outside of his professional life, Colin is a devoted father to his daughter, Emerson Leigh. He is passionate about firearms training and education, serving as a National Rifle Association (NRA) pistol instructor and a concealed handgun permit instructor for the state of Louisiana. Colin is also an author, an avid mountain climber, and a Certified Personal Trainer. He is an active member of City Church (formerly Church at Red River). A highlight of his life was summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa alongside his father in October 2021.
Jennifer Delcomyn started her career at Evans Financial Group in 2006. She started as an Operations Specialist and was responsible for processing applications and paperwork. She quickly became passionate with the financial industry and decided to become an advisor with the firm. She enjoys building relationships with clients and designing solutions that will benefit them in all aspects throughout their life. Jennifer has become dedicated to educating her clients and empowering them to make informed decisions about their finances and gaining confidence for their financial future.
She obtained a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University in 2003. Jennifer has two boys, Hunter and Harper, that she enjoys spending her time with. When not at work, she attends Mary Queen of Peace, volunteering her time with local organizations and cheering on the LSU Tigers.
Micah was born and raised in NW Louisiana. In 2020, after a decade in the commercial construction industry, Micah chose to pursue a career that offered opportunities to build trust, develop lasting relationships, and help clients plan for financial success in life. He graduated from Northwestern State University with a degree in Business Administration. He has his life and health insurance license and his securities license.
Micah and his wife, Kristyn, spend most of their time chasing their three children: Ellie, Jack, and Leo. As a family, they enjoy the outdoors, especially when it includes gathering and cooking. They attend Covenant Church in Bossier City.
Brooke Reynolds joined Evans Financial Group in 2013. She started as a client service specialist and obtained her Life and Health Insurance license in 2015. She transitioned into helping our advisors oversee the AUM portion of the business as well. Most recently, she has taken on the role of planning all of our events here at Evans Financial Group, from our annual Client Appreciation Event to our monthly Wine & Wisdom.
She’s a Shreveport native, with two children, Mackenzie and Max. They attend Gladstone Community Church in Shreveport.
Kelly started part time with Evans Financial Group in January of 2020. She started as a Client Service Specialist handling applications and service work. Kelly worked her way up to Chief Operations Officer in February of 2022. She still helps with client needs while also overseeing the day-to-day operations of the firm.
Kelly grew up in Shreveport where she met her husband, Tim. They have lived in several states due to his 24 years of service in the U.S. Air Force. They have 2 beautiful daughters, Berlynn and Brylee who keep them busy with soccer and school band. In her free time, she enjoys playing billiards and spending time with her family.
Peggy Mott has been with Evans Financial Group since 2008 working as a client service specialist. Peggy also oversees the administration of employee benefits for group clients. She obtained her master’s degree at Stephen F. Austin State University and is a licensed life and health insurance professional.
Peggy is married and has three children and five grandchildren. She and her husband attend Gladstone Community Church.
After 13 years in Christian retail and then 11 years as a Realtor, Shelley joined Evans Financial Group in March of 2021. Shelley handles new applications, service work for clients and helps with questions when they call into our office.
She is married to Terry Wilson, an Air Force Veteran and they have a large family of four children and four grandchildren.
Vicky Zimmerman is our Client Service Specialist and a Notary. She joined us in January 2014 and obtained her insurance license in 1992. She grew up a “military brat” and settled in Bossier City in 1984. She loves gardening and spending time with her large family. Together, Vicky and her husband Ray have six kids, five grandkids. Vicky and Ray attend St. Joseph’s Church in Shreveport.
